Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurship and Coding Programs
Barayamal's mission is to inspire and empower Indigenous Youth with confidence and opportunities to achieve their dreams and create a better world for all who live in it.
In 2016, more than half (53%) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people were aged under 25 years. Furthermore, Indigenous employment sits at a low 48%. Through disempowerment and lack of opportunity, the Indigenous community in Australia has the highest rate of suicide of any community in the world.
By empowering Indigenous Youth, we could help re-shape these statistics and our communities.
