Barayamal Centre of Entrepreneurship

Outside of family and our community, there are few things that have such a profound effect on us than having a business. Your business can bring sleepless nights but also allow you to achieve your dreams, financially and culturally. In short, your business is a roller-coaster, especially for First Nations entrepreneurs who lack support from mainstream programs... but what if things could be different?

Barayamal is launching the "Barayamal Centre of Entrepreneurship” (BCE) in West End, Brisbane to rapidly increase and grow First Nations (FN) startups/businesses, increase economic development and create jobs for FN people in Brisbane and throughout Australia.

FN entrepreneurship is the high growth and impact solution that will help close the disparity and opportunity gap.

BCE will host up to 30 FN entrepreneurs in the co-working space area, and the facility also includes a meeting room and event space. The event space has the capacity to host over 60 attendees, which will be used to run workshops, conferences, hackathons and community events with plenty of natural lighting and space to deliver a remarkable event for any occasion.

Barayamal is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), which means we are a for-impact enterprise with the aim of helping close the disparity gap through entrepreneurship and technology. The BCE Membership price is built on the “pay-it-forward” model, with successful entrepreneurs paying more to support the greater community and help keep operations sustainable.
