Launch of the "Barayamal Logo Project"

Oe the 15th December 2017, Barayamal launches the "Barayamal Logo Project" for First Nations creatives to design a new logo for Barayamal to celebrate the 1st anniversary of operations (for Barayamal), how much we have achieve within a short period of time and limited resources, and to celebrate new beginnings as we continue to grow.

We are committed to fostering Indigenous culture and entrepreneurship, and for the first time we invite all First Nations creatives an opportunity to "get their name and work out there" by creating a new logo that incorporates both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture in the design and accompanying story for Barayamal.

The submission period will run from the 15 December 2017 to 21 March 2018. The winning entry will be announced on the 1st April 2018 via email and social media - the successful artist will receive a once off payment of $1,000 for purchase of their artwork, conditional upon the artist entering into an agreement granting rights to Barayamal to reproduce the artwork on its publications, websites and other promotional materials, with appropriate acknowledgement of the artist.

Contestants can submit multiple entries and the project brief can be found via this link:
